1. Purpose Subject
the students develop in Civil Engineering from the UNI capacity for analysis and objective interpretation of the situation and economic dynamics at local, regional, national and global, as well as the most important phenomena that are generated and their effects on social and economic structures with sufficient conceptual domain, critical awareness and sense of social responsibility. Specific aims: • To ensure that students internalize basic conceptual platform of principles and economic terms, that is supportive to perform successfully and profitably in matters related to courses within and outside of your program curriculum. • Build capacity for the identification of economic structures and the interaction of the agents involved (institutions and individuals) across the various markets for goods and services. • Develop skills to understand and estimate the performance of key economic variables based on the macroeconomics and microeconomics, as well as the mechanisms by which manifest their effects and their interaction. • Ensure that students understand the action of the agent business with creativity in identifying investment opportunities and drive business. • Develop capacity to Identify and prepare basic information relevant to conduct economic analysis and apply the main tools for diagnosis of the market (supply, demand, pricing and marketing) and determine their effects on economic and social structures and the environment. 3. Knowledge transfer methodology
course methodology is applied active learning, where students participate in the process of constructing knowledge and the teacher takes on more a role of learning facilitator rather than provider of knowledge. As a strategy to promote the better and quicker understanding of concepts by students used the method of casuistry (case development) also gives reference elements that allow the application of knowledge to new cases or conditions. Extension develops practical turn with individual and group work in the home, while evaluating the learning process. Also, to encourage research and directs self-taught students to discover knowledge on specific issues related to the curriculum to consolidate their training.
